According to my informant there is a Slovakian folk festival that takes place below the Pol’ana Mountains. This festival includes folk music, dance, and songs. However, this festival is not only organized for Slovaks who live in Slovakia, it is also organized for Slovakians living elsewhere as well. The festival takes place in amphitheater in Detva where various Slovakian craft products are sold.
