Convo days are the first days of formal rush where the sorority girls learn about the potential new members who are rushing and talk to them though brief, short conversations. These days introduce the potential new members to the sorority itself and some of the activated members. It is the first session of rush which continues the tradition of the culture of sororities in which recruitment is formal. Their personalities are analyzed as a part of the rush process. The active sorority members ask questions and gear the conversations toward finding out if the rushing girls’ values match those of the house.
